How tame is too tame?

So my wife finally made a friend...

Reptiles need to eat too...

I had just missed an opportunity to photograph one of these guys. The battery died on my camera before I could get it. So I walked ahead of the group, and this bugger shot off of the bank. We caught it mid meal.

Snakes and Smokes

Ok, so it's wrong, sacraligious, and just plain disrespectful. I didn't want to do it, but Phil made me. I did think that it was quite silly at first, but I have grown to love this image. There were no animals harmed in the making of this, at least not by us. I will assure you that although it looks alive, this guy is quite dead.

What is a day at the lake without at least one Turtle?

My daughter actually spotted this little guy. All of us tall people almost missed him. Believe it or not this litte guy was only about the size of a saltine.

My Canine Friends

Almost everyone I know has a pet or two. Here are a couple of mine.

Pin Wheel. Nuff said.

Majestic Beasts

Here are some shots that I have been trying to get of Geese forever now. I finally got some. I can do better. Just have to get up earlier...

The _Lost_Fountain

Ok, so I know that I have at least one person that I know laughing at me right now. But, I really did not know where I was, nor did I know that this fountain was even here. But it does look cool. Sometimes you just have to drive around and get lost to find the moment that you want.

The Morning Dew

Yeah so this is the first Photo Blog that I have ever done. Recently I have been fascinated by these little Roses at my work. I have to go in early every Thursday, and it seems like I am always finding myself with the time to photograph these little guys/gals. So stop and smell the Roses.

So I got a new Macro Lens and it has seemingly opened up a whole new world for me. Like I said before, absolutely fascinated with these Roses. This is the first shot that I ever took of one. I love this picture. It is one of my favorites. I am going to the park tomorrow. Be looking for Ducks and Geese. I might even get around to posting some of the shots that my friend Phil and I took of some water. Man it took forever to take those. Four hours to figure it out.
